Founded in 1971, the Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini is located in the heart of an area particularly well-suited for viticulture. It is framed by the hills of Cortona, the Val di Chiana, Montepulciano, and the Val d’Orcia. Established with the aim of promoting the grapes of a few local producers, Viticoltori Senesi Aretini now has more than 200 contributing members, whose vineyards collectively cover an area of approximately 350 hectares, spread across the provinces of Siena and Arezzo.

Raising the Standard in Every Bottle

Over the years, the winery has significantly transformed its production structure: from the initial bulk wine sales, it gradually transitioned to producing a wide range of bottled wines. The typical table wines have been complemented by the finer IGT (white and red) and the DOCG Chianti, including Biologico versions, and in the best vintages, Riserva.

Sustainable winemaking

The winery is moving towards an increasingly eco-friendly winemaking process, as evidenced by the use of cutting-edge machinery that ensures excellent energy efficiency. Environmental concern, along with locally sourced and controlled raw materials, ensures the excellent quality of our wines.
